Survey Says: Employees Would Favor Financial Wellness Services

Recently the National Financial Educators Council (NFEC) conducted a survey that asked employees three questions regarding the link between their work experience and financial situation.

The first question asked if employees would have a more favorable opinion of their employer if their employer provided training on financial education. Out of 583 respondents, 45.6% answered ‘Yes’.

The second question pondered whether or not employees would be more content with their salary if other areas of their personal finance situation improved. 50.4% of 582 respondents said they would be more content with their salary if other financial situations improved.

The third and final question asked if employees believed they would be more productive at work if their financial situation was more secure. 282 employees out of 582 respondents (48.4%) believed they would be more productive at work if their finances were more stable.
